Renae attended law school at the University of Ottawa. During law school, Renae was actively involved with the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), a legal clinic committed to advancing the public interest on technology law and policy issues. Renae also worked as a research assistant on projects related to privacy law, human rights law, digital identity systems, artificial intelligence, and employee surveillance. During her 3L year, Renae worked at a boutique intellectual property and technology law firm in Ottawa. Renae’s personal and professional experiences sparked a passion for advocacy in labour and employment matters that she brings to Levitt LLP.

Outside the office Renae enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, watching horror movies, and reading.
