Articling Student
Ivy earned her Juris Doctor from Western Law. During law school, Ivy was an Orientation Week Leader, where helped new students acclimate to law school, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. Ivy also gained valuable hands-on legal experience as a student caseworker at the Community Legal Services Clinic, where she represented clients in housing, personal injury, and criminal matters.
Ivy’s interest in labour and employment law developed when she summered at a boutique law firm specializing in this field. This experience allowed her to explore the complexities of workplace legal issues and sparked her enthusiasm for civil litigation.
Before starting her legal journey, Ivy graduated with distinction from Western University, majoring in Health Sciences with an honours specialization in Health Promotion. During her undergraduate studies, she was actively involved in the Health Ethics, Law and Policy (HELP) Lab, collaborating with national health organizations on important legal and policy research. This work continues to guide expert decision-making processes.
Outside of her professional life, Ivy enjoys spending time with her dog, playing golf, traveling, and trying new foods.
