Kathleen is an associate with Levitt LLP. She is an accomplished lawyer specializing in employment law, personal injury and insurance disputes. With a passion for advocating for clients, Kathleen brings extensive litigation experience in navigating complex legal matters related to workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment and employment contracts.  She has successfully represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court of Justice and various boards and tribunals.

Kathleen was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and since that time has been practicing exclusively in the area of civil litigation. Prior to joining Levitt LLP, Kathleen Burkimsher worked at a prominent insurance defence firm in Toronto as well as a boutique personal injury firm. Working for insurance companies taught Kathleen the importance of practicing law in an efficient, organized and effective manner.

 

Kathleen graduated with her law degree from Western University, where she participated in numerous advocacy competitions and worked at a community legal clinic. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
