Jacqueline L. King

Jacqueline L. King is a distinguished partner at Levitt LLP. She brings a wealth of trial experience, having argued a spectrum of complex legal issues before various trial and appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada — arguing matters ranging from employment, shareholders disputes, fraud, oppression remedies and tax litigation.

Her acumen in employment law has been recognized with her peer reviewed selection for the 2023 edition of “Best Lawyers in Canada” under the “Labour and Employment Law” category.

Jacqueline has taught within the judicial community through speaking engagements at the National Judicial Institute, an educational platform for Superior Court judges. As an author, she has significantly contributed to the legal literature with works such as 25 Rules for Success, The Trial Book, and Entertainment Law in Canada.

In service to the legal profession, Ms. King has played pivotal roles in the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, chairing committees such as Judicial Issues and the Supreme Court of Canada Liaison, along with her contributions to Government and Advocacy and Continuing Legal Education and Ethics committees. As an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, she educates the next generation in Labour and Employment Law and has chaired the Osgoode Professional Development’s program on Evidence Law for the Civil Litigator for over 17 years.
